Well the time has come for the kittens to move out of the cupboard by the cooker. (This is their new home in the kitten playpen. The kitten playpen is by the window and this gives them a snug dark area in which to sleep.)

The Stranger on a Train, Oysters and Champagne

'Kay yah, I am sharing this story although (because?) it is very indiscreet of me! ROFLOL! But mainly cuz some of you kittens need to hear this - like you, sheablue. Some of you are going around, going, "I am so fat/thin/my legs are not good/my boobs are too small/big/shaped like aubergines". Well, let me tell you aubergines are damn sexy and can fit very nicely in the right kind of hand. You cubs can go and play, cuz I am sure you do not need your self confidence boosted. Wha-at? What is that? You also think you are too fat/thin/your arms are not muscley enough/whatever? Sheesh! OK, you can come and hear the story too but you must sit quietly and not push each other in that way that boyz do. 

Pussies Galore

Kitten update

'Kay y'all! I am just popping in after an ... interesting trip to London (<snerk>) to give you a bit of good news. 

The little black kitten is putting on weight, so I think it will be fine. It started out at about 70 grams. Put on 25 grams while I was away. Yesterday it was coming in at 130 grams and today has gone up to 140 grams. 

The others are too fat for me to bother weighing them, LOL. 

Yah, that is a set of Conran scales with pebble weights. If anyone has a spare 5 gram weight, gimme a shout as that teeny tiny one disappeared some time during the period I moved house four times in like two years  (with a baby tucked under my arm and my books carefully packed in boxes).

Never on a Sunday ....

Cuz for a proper MILF, Sunday is not a day of rest, LOL. It's the day of the week when the kitchen is at its busiest: hectic with full on cooking and people who dropped by carrying a bottle of wine for the Sunday lunch. Of course, the Whore of Catylon chose to have her kittens on Saturday night, thus ensuring herself a day of party party party immediately after the chaos of the birth. 

I am kinda tired today. In fact I feel like I used to during the first five years of total sleep deprivation that came with the arrival of Piglet in my life. I used to feel like I could lie down on the floor I was mopping and just crash out and sleep really nicely. So I might not be as hilarious in this post as I sometimes am; I thought I would write it cuz when I looked up on the net there was lots of advice about what to do if your cat refuses to take responsibility for her little bastards but not much on how it is all supposed to happen. So this is for those who are hanging around the delivery room doors biting their fingernails and thinking is this normal?
